THINGS I'VE GOT GOING ON ATM.

1. my slammin' body. NAHT. but i'm working on that.
2. listening to recovery. eminem is a lyrical master. 'i'm lightning in a skillet you're a flash in the pan' jesus christ.
3. reading vladimir nabokov's lolita - i expected to be thoroughly disturbed but it's not obscene at all. well, in the sense that there aren't swear words and shit, but there are descriptions of 'nymphlets' that are a little disconcerting. so far, good read.
4. reading atonement by ian mcewan. not terribly captivating. but i might be doing it next year so i've got to try.
5. writing a gothic short story for some comp at school. might do two, one serious and one parody.

i can't even write what i'm feeling today. i want to say all these things and i can't. it's like an emptiness. which is filled with pain and anger. see, it doesn't make sense. i just want to sleep it all away. i want to wake up to find that things are nice and that you might be there.

just awake and being alive and such

just watched superbad - i love that fucking film. i'd forgotten how much i loved it but it is hilarious. and i'm just lying here, chillin'. in bed. yeah i like my bed. i jam in my bed. i like to lie here and have elaborate daydreams when i should be working. thinking up scraps of words for things to write. i have a gothic writing contest at college which i'm going to enter - the shit we came up with in english was fucking brilliant - a faceless werewolf ninja and a dungeon under a church and some shit like that. got my nails done with OPI's bling dynasty, two coats. a third would have made it solid but i kind of like this inbetweeny sheer you can only see when you hold up to the light. lots of things have changed but i think almost all of it has been nice. and that's good because no-one is nice anymore. that sounds ridiculous. but everyone's angry. but that's alright because everyone can be nice. and that's good. and everything is always nicer when everyone else is asleep and i'm just alone with my thoughts and the sound of silence shall we say. i'm going to start reading lolita by vladimir nabokov tomorrow when i get home from george's. i've been meaning to read it since i remember it being mentioned in an adrian mole book, and i got it out of the library. and i got atonement by ian mcewan out as well. this summer is going to be largely dominated by gothic literature and drinking. perhaps not at the same time.

i'm having a ring thing right now. was going to buy a blue dress like the playsuit but decided against it. also wanted marl trackies from topshop but they're kind of a maybe. mmm i'm chilled atm. got some maths homework to do but i'm still chilllll. life is nice.

PAMELA MANN AND OPI

RECENTLY.

i bought sheer seamed holdups and large diamond nets from pamela mann - happy with the large nets. the holdups haven't got a lot of elastic so i might have to sew/glue the gummed straps onto the inside, or start using a garter belt.





i also got O.P.I's Bling Dynasty from the Hong Kong collection - i wanted suzy says feng shui too, but meh. i did my nails last night though, so i'm going to wait a couple of days to do the new mani.
